THE MOUSE OF STEEL IS BACK!!!

....yeah, i really am having TOO MUCH fun with this!!! Hey, he WAS the FIRST cartoon character EVER to appear on Saturday mornings!!! The character was originally called 'Super Mouse' (his costume was initially very similar to Superman's!) but rather than promote another company's character, creator Paul Terry decided to change the Terrytoon character's name to Mighty Mouse. Ralph Bakshi last worked with the character in 1987 and that show seemed aimed more at adults than at children.

Over at The Drawing Board there's a cool 'character jam' with none other than MIGHTY MOUSE and crazy as it may sound it got me going!!! Always loved the character as a kid so i figured i'd take a shot with some sketches. (Nothing to crazy as i'm kinda a traditionalist in this.) Here's some of the results:
