A LIL' SKETCHING...

... Well, the month's coming to an end; i needed to toss some stuff up here so i'm sticking to my promise
and posting some sketches i've done recently. It's kinda feels good NOT trying to do a whole finished, colored
piece of work for a change!!! i've got more time to just draw lately and will post more very soon.

As you can see, i'm not quite done with this cat...!!!

DUDE! THESE SKETCHES ARE GREAT!!

i always like to see the rough stuff!! rough sketches are usually more full of life and movement before the clean up stages! i'm feelin' all three but that last one is REALLY COOL. the 2nd one feels "classic" with that pose!!

and what kind of paper are you drawing on?? it looks nice!

Courageous Cat vs.Mighty Mouse, huh? That WOULD be the natural way to go from the looks of this blog!!! We'll see what i come up with, J. As for the paper--it's basically my smudging the pencils as i draw and i do add a hue in Photoshop to give it an old weathered look but it's not that complicated. Glad you like it!

Allright! Love that last page, too..the Courageous Cat pose is really cool - and look who snuck in there - Green Lantern! Nice! Glad to hear you've been doing more drawing. And, we love the rough stuff - sketches, finishes, whatever - we'll check it all out.

I love your artwork, great stuff. Quick question, can I get you to make me some artwork? I own several websites related to Underdog, Comic Books and Cartoon characters. If you're interested please let me know.

Yeah Charlie listen to Jason. My websites are in need of some serious artistic talent. Take a look at www.ComicBookGeeks.com, see the lack of artwork???
